Hi, I’m Dr. Marilia Campos,
a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. I founded Optima Kidney Care to practice medicine differently—with longer, unrushed visits that allow patients to feel truly heard and receive the thoughtful care they deserve.
Living with high blood pressure, obesity, or kidney disease can feel overwhelming. I believe in taking the time to understand the bigger picture, address root causes when possible, and create a clear, personalized plan that fits your life.
My goal is to help patients understand their health, feel confident in their decisions, and make meaningful changes that improve long-term wellness.

Yes, Optima Kidney Care is in network with most commercial plans as well as Medicare
At Optima, patients are cared for through an optional affordable $35/month or $360/year membership.
This allows Dr. Campos to keep a smaller patient panel and provide better patient care via unrushed appointments, allowing patients to text her directly and allowing same week appointments when the need arises.
I really cannot say enough great things about Dr Campos!!! I trust her, I feel that she hears my concerns, while honoring my personal journey as well. Her staff are always so sweet, and whenever I tell any other provider about her, they too have nothing but great things to say about her!
