Hola, soy la Dra. Marilia Campos. Soy médica internista y nefróloga certificada , y me interesa mucho ayudar a las personas a comprender y controlar su salud renal.
La enfermedad renal puede ser abrumadora, por eso me tomo el tiempo para explicar las cosas con claridad, responder preguntas y asegurarme de que mis pacientes se sientan apoyados en cada paso del proceso. Soy originaria de Costa Rica, donde terminé la carrera de medicina antes de mudarme a Minneapolis para mi residencia en Medicina Interna. Desde 2020, me enorgullece vivir en el noroeste del PacÃfico, donde completé mi especialización en NefrologÃa en la Universidad de Salud y Ciencias de Oregón (OHSU). Hablo inglés y español , y me encanta poder atender a mis pacientes en ambos idiomas.

If Optima Kidney Care is in-network with your insurance, medical visits related to weight management and metabolic health are billed to your insurance. Patients remain responsible for applicable copays, deductibles, or coinsurance.

Cancellation Policy
​You may cancel anytime with 30 days notice. If you and Dr. Campos decide to discontinue the medication, you will not be billed for future months. Your plan remains active through the end of your current billing period.

Disclosure: the membership cost does not include the cost of the medication or medical visits.
Medical visits are $250 for initial consult and $150 for follow ups​

Lab Orders
Labs are ordered and reviewed by our clinic, and are typically billed to insurance when medically indicated. Self-pay options are also available for very low cost ($2-$10 per lab order)

Step 2: Initial Consultation
You will begin by scheduling an initial consultation with Dr. Campos.

Your initial visit focuses on understanding your overall health — including nutrition, physical activity, behavioral patterns, metabolic health, and medical history — to create a personalized and sustainable care plan. Laboratory data, safety considerations, and medication options are reviewed as appropriate.

If you choose to enroll in the weight-management program, the $300 visit fee will be credited toward your membership, effectively covering the first three months of membership.
